Genspark × Emergence

Three months ago, Genspark closed a Series B. Today, they're closing an extension at a 63% valuation premium, which is what happens when enterprise teams stop using a product and start depending on it. Genspark automates the actual output of knowledge work: presentations, financial models, research, cross-team deliverables. You describe what you need and the work comes back done.

Why we're doubling down: General Partner Joe Floyd backed Genspark on the thesis that lasting enterprise value would go to the companies building a full system of context around foundation models, the scaffolding that turns generic intelligence into specific results. $645M raised and a valuation that nearly doubled in a quarter is that thesis in motion. Customers are offloading work to Genspark, and that is a different relationship than a copilot creates.

What we're watching: Whether the agentic workplace consolidates around a single platform the way productivity did around Microsoft Office, or fragments by function. Genspark is making a compelling case for consolidation, and the speed of enterprise adoption will tell us a lot about which way this goes.

Genspark crossed $50M ARR in five months. At some point, the numbers stop being a milestone and start being a message about where enterprise work is going.

— Joe Floyd, General Partner
