​George is an Associate at Emergence Capital. Before joining Emergence, he spent five years at Retool, where he joined as the 15th employee and helped scale the company across a range of go-to-market roles. His time at Retool deepened his passion for working directly with customers and building products that solve real, tangible problems.

George is always on the lookout for products that create a visceral “whoa” moment—an instinct he followed when he joined Retool, and one that continues to guide his excitement for meeting founders building category-defining companies.

George grew up in Seattle and graduated from Gonzaga University, where he studied Computer Science. Outside of work, he enjoys watching all sports, playing basketball, attending a workout class, or catching up on the latest thriller on Netflix.
