Current Opportunities

Associate

We are recruiting for several Associates at Emergence. As a member of the investment team, you will actively participate in all stages of the investment process from identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities to supporting current portfolio entrepreneurs. While you will be working directly with one of our GPs (co-develop investment theses, take company pitches, source new opportunities, nurture relationships, attend the occasional board meeting, execute diligence, and more), there will be opportunities to collaborate with other GPs and senior investors on cross-firm initiatives. This role is intended for individuals with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Principal

We are looking to add a Principal to our investment team. This is a partner-track position where you will drive our diligence and sourcing efforts, develop the firm’s expertise in our thesis areas, co-sponsor deals, and contribute to building internal processes and the Emergence brand. This role is intended for individuals possessing at least 6+ years of relevant work experience and/or post-MBA.

Editor-in-Chief

We are hiring our very first Editor-in-Chief at Emergence as a member of our Platform team! As our first storyteller, you’ll get to shape this brand-new function for the firm, create original content, and define how we democratize knowledge for the broader tech community. We are targeting a minimum of 3 years of content/editorial experience for this role.
