Santi is a Partner at Emergence Capital Partners. He’s a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 8 years of operational experience in the IT sector.

Prior to joining Emergence, Santi was an advisor at Aqua Capital Partners where he assisted with the due diligence process for new technology investments and developed detailed models to facilitate analysis of companies.

Before joining Aqua Capital Partners, Santi was a summer associate at Storm Ventures where he sourced opportunities and presented investment recommendations in the SaaS, enterprise software and consumer internet spaces.

In 1999, Santi founded his own company, AXG Tecnonexo, the largest e-learning vendor in Latin America. He expanded the company from its inception to more than 150 employees with operations across Latin America and the US. The solutions offered included a Learning Management System (licensed or provided as a service), custom content development services, and consulting. To accelerate the company's international growth, Santi designed and implemented a hybrid direct sales approach with a strong channel partner component to target large corporations. With this strategy AXG Tecnonexo was able to secure contracts with blue-chip clients such as Bank of America, Coca Cola, DirecTV and the World Bank. AXG Tecnonexo remains strong today, and is backed by institutional investors.

Santi received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and holds a BS in Economics from St. Andrew's University in Argentina. He is Kauffman Finalist and an Endeavor Entrepreneur.

Outside of work Santi is passionate about traveling internationally. He spent 6 months backpacking around the world and continues to work on a personal goal of visiting at least 50% of the world countries. He is an avid opera and classical music follower and, as almost every Argentine, he is passionate about soccer.
